Kuruvadweep
Kuruvadweep (or Kuruva Islands) is situated in the Mananthavady taluk of Wayand district and tops the list of tourist places in Wayand. It is basically a group of islets which is formed on 950 acres of evergreen forest. The forest has thick bamboo canopies, various herbs, rare orchids and flower species, and this is the reason why the forest department has taken intensive measures to protect the region.
